Summary:  It’s been a year since the torturous notes from A stopped and the mystery of Alison DiLaurentis’s disappearance was finally put to rest. Now seniors in high school, Aria, Spencer, Hanna and Emily are older, but they’re not any wiser. The Pretty Little Liars have more secrets than ever - twisted secrets that could destroy the perfect lives they’ve worked so hard to rebuild.
Aria’s jealous of her boyfriend’s new exchange student. Spencer’s getting a little too cozy with her soon-to-be-stepbrother. Hanna’s one scandalous photo away from ruining her dad’s Senate campaign. And Emily will do anything to get a swim scholarship.

Worst of all: Last spring break in Jamaica, they did something unforgivable. The girls are desperate to forget that fateful night, but they should know better than anyone that all secrets wash ashore … eventually

My Thoughts:  A's back bitches! A is back and eviler than ever. The continuation to my guilty pleasure is here. I am a huge fan of the Pretty Little Liars series and when Wanted ended, I wanted more. Here it is. After Wanted ended, I wasn't so sure how Sara was going to continue on with the series because Wanted seemed like the end of it. All the secrets were out in the open and everyone knew what was up, but these girls are still up to more and more mess. It's just crazy; some people just don't learn their lesson. To me, its just going to me repetitive with each and every novel that continues this series, but nether the less, I'm going to read it whole-heartily.

I came into this book with low-expectations, but it really blew me away, wanting more, but yet, it still ruined the conclusion in Wanted for me. But here we are: Aria is battling a Finnish beauty named "Klaudia" for her boyfriend, Noel Khan, Hanna is trying to erase some very naughty pictures, but for a very high cost, Emily has had a very "interesting" Spring Break and Spencer is....well, Spencer, but trying to get with your soon-to-be-stepbrother isn't the perfect picture for a family. You'd think these girls learn a lesson, but, unfortunately no, they haven't. I craved to know what happened, what was going on, but it was only out of mere confusion and because Sara does have a way with words I like.

One thing I don't understand is, that there were a lot of loose ends in the novel. Like, Emily, per say, how the hell did she get pregnant!? When and where? When did all this happen and, more importantly, this nine-month span couldn't have happened. The whole Klaudia situation was as expected, but, seriously, "I'm going to FUCK your boyfriend" ? That's all you could have come up with? Mr. Pennythisle, don't get me started on that. That's just a douchebag name by itself and also, Spencer, the man is beating his son and you scream out, he's gay to make it worse. It wasn't going to make it better.
I just wanted to like murder everyone of these characters, new and old. The only decent one was Hanna, just because I like to read about the crazy shit she gets herself in. I can't believe she hasn't learned anything from the past year or so. None of them have, like really? Then there's a new A lurking around, what do you know? Just makes the whole thing better. NOT.

So, Sara Shepard, I applaud you for a fantastic series and I will continue to follow your journey as you write more and more of these books and fuck up the series completely, but I must say you have disappointed me.

That's It, and I'm Out

  2. It was crazy. A good read, regardless, but its not even a main thing, its like a side note mentioned, like a secret you have to find out on your own. :(
