Summary: Samara is a troubled and lonely adolescent, prone to cutting, who desperately craves both intimacy and escape from her unfulfilled life . . . until she meets her reflection, Dee, the seeming answer to all her problems. With dual--and dueling--points of view, "Eyes in the Mirror" provides a perspective from one girl's life and from her freer, wilder reflection.

My Thoughts: I primarily thought this book would be all scientific and paranormal, but surprisingly, it really wasn't. It was more on the girl's relationship and how they interacted with each other. These two girls, well, no, just Samara is in a bad place in life and she needs help. Dee, she's having a good life, perfect life and she just wants more.

The writing was fantastic and just so well written. Those 200 pages went by quickly. I loved the way she tackled these hard hitting issues like, cutting. Because, well, the way she described it, made you fell. It made me touch my wrist and wince a bit. And the pregnancy scene is just a bit crazy, too. It's engaging, not really what I'd suspect it to me. It brings a whole new was of looking into the mirror.

Dee is funny, she's outgoing and fun. Samara is shy, she's quiet and just so sad, so depressed and is constantly drowning in her sorrows, you really feel for her. Dee, you start to get attached to her towards the end. She just grows on you, you know?

Then....there's the EMOTION. ALL THE EMOTION! In the end, I legit cried. And that is saddening. Samara was ultimately my favorite and you, you must go read this book.

That's all.
