Okay, maybe that was a bit melodramatic, but I’m sorry, I’m feeling a bit melodramatic at the moment.

Here’s the deal. My name is Brooklyn Pierce, I’m fifteen years old, and I am decisionally challenged. Seriously, I can’t remember the last good decision I made. I can remember plenty of crappy ones though. Including that party I threw when my parents were out of town that accidentally burned down a model home. Yeah, not my finest moment, for sure.

But see, that’s why I started a blog. To enlist readers to make my decisions for me. That’s right. I gave up. Threw in the towel. I let someone else be the one to decide which book I read for English. Or whether or not I accepted an invitation to join the debate team from that cute-in-a-dorky-sort-of-way guy who gave me the Heimlich Maneuver in the cafeteria. (Note to self: Chew the melon before swallowing it.) I even let them decide who I dated!

Well, it turns out there are some things in life you simply can’t choose or have chosen for you—like who you fall in love with. And now everything’s more screwed up than ever.

But don’t take my word for it, read the book and decide for yourself. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll scream in frustration. Or maybe that’s just me. After all, it’s my life.

My Thoughts: Well, I am a bad, bad blogger. I have not been reading the books I am suppose to. I have...what? 3 million books to read on my "Review" list, well maybe not 3 million, but you catch my drift. I have to read those, but here I am reading this. Not that I'm complaining, I mean I loved this book. I LOVED IT. Have you ever had those feelings when you just...don't feel like reading...This book got me out of my book block. I mean, I'd been reading, but not enjoying what I had been reading, but that's besides the point, back to Jessica's amazing book.

Well, I must say, I loved Brooklyn's character. She was smart, she was funny, she was relatable. That is all I ask for in a person! Her voice was lovely to read in and mostly because it was...REAL. She was like a real person, actually, like me. I've had those times a lot when I didn't know who I was, what I wanted to do, so I began to be what my friends molded me into, how they wanted me to act and talk and such. But that wasn't me and for a matter of fact, I'm not as good friends with them as I once was because I changed. This book made me see. Really see that you, need to be just that. You. Brooklyn, at one point, broke and as very cliche-like as it was, it made you want more. I wanted more from the book even as it was over, that's how great it was. That's how a standalone should make you feel,

The situation with her blog...Interesting, this book could've gone in so many ways and thank you for not fucking this book up. THANK YOU! It went in the right direction. The end was very pre-mediated and predictable, but ultimately, perfect. The characters in this book were awesome and just, it was like Mean Girls from Gretchen's point of view.

Yes Gretchen, this book was so FETCH.

Well, I am typing this too you in my library and I only have like 20 minutes left, so if I want to check my email, I must go.
Happy Readings,
