247°F Movie Review

247°F
Starring: Scout Taylor Compton, Christina Ulloa, Travis Van Wrinkle and Micheal Copon
Summary: Four friends travel to a lakeside cabin for a carefree weekend, the fun turns into a nightmare when 3 of them end up locked in a hot sauna. Every minute counts and every degree matters as they fight for their lives in the heat up to 247°F.
I Give This Movie A: D-

My Thoughts: Well, to start off this movie is a type of survival movie that has a good plot, but they ruined it. That is why its not an F, and because it managed to keep my awake, I typically fall asleep during bad horror movies, but this caught my attention and it keep me up for the long haul. And a long haul it was, for only 88 minutes, it feels like everything could have been done in about 30. Plus, Frozen another survival movie came out in 2010, it looks as if someone saw that movie and said, "Hey, let's do that, but with...with....heat. Which sucks, basically,

The acting is not good, whatsoever, except for a few lines or so from Scout Taylor Compton's character who is utterly insane after the tragic accident that killed her boyfriend. I love Scout Taylor Compton, but this isn't one of her better movies. All the characters in this movie are flat and utterly boring to the most part. But the action was okay, I guess. Mainly towards the ending, but that's expected. The beginning is really bad, just bad. And I'm also upset they didn't go more into Compton's character's past and behind the whole accident and such. Complete LET DOWN.

So I don't recommend this to any REAL horror fans, but if you just are like bored or something looking for some background noise or just in the mood to watch a bad movie, this ones for you.

Happy Movie Watching,
Kandee
