Triple Dog Movie Review

Triple Dog (2010)
Starring: Britt Robertson, Alexia Fast, Scout Taylor-Compton and Janel Parrish
Summary: On the night of a sleepover, a group of teenage girls venture out in a competitive game of challenging dares. As the antics escalate, and the dares become more extreme, the girls unravel the truth behind a former student's rumored suicide.
I Give This Movie A: D+

My Thoughts: I give it a D for great plot and the + for including some good actresses and actors, if this wasn't their "greatest" job of the century. *Cough* Mona in Pretty Little Liars *Cough* But never the less, their presence is somewhat enjoyable, wait no. Scratch that, if it weren't for some of the big names accompanied this movie, I wouldn't have watched it. The movie is just like a typical teen movie, like Sleepover, if you haven't seen it as a kid, I suggest you rethink your childhood, but take this movie and put a little "thrill" in it and you have Triple Dog. The title being named after the fact they are said to do these dares.

Why this got an R rating is beyond me as well. There are a few sexual scenes, but not enough for an FREAKING R rating. And then, there's no blood. At all, just a very sad circumstance. Its hard to say this movie wasn't "fun", it was interesting, but yet it was difficult to understand at times, but within 45 minutes of watching it, I knew the ending and what happened. All there was that was left was the why, which is also another reason I didn't just turn the movie off completely.

Otherwise, this movie is okay. Not too terrible, not on the brink. I saw it on Netflix as well, if you really do want to watch it.

Happy Movie Watching,
