Movie Review: What's Your Number?

What's Your Number? Movie Poster

What's Your Number? (2011)
Starring: Anna Faris, Chris Evans, Ari Graynor, Joel McHale, Ed Begley Jr
Summary: On her way home after losing her job, Ally Darling comes across a magazine article entitled "What's Your Number?", which asks the reader to calculate how many people she has slept with. Realizing that her number is double the average, Ally decides to track down all of her ex-boyfriends in the hope that one of them will have grown into the man she wants to marry, and therefore the number of men she has slept with will never have to increase. With the help of her womanizing neighbor Colin Shea, she manages to find all of her exes, but things do not quite work out the way she had expected.

My Thoughts: Anna Faris is utterly adorable. I love her in almost everything even though she only plays ditzy, stupid, blondes, and yet again, here she is playing a ditzy, stupid blonde. Not as stupid, but still a tad stupid which is sad because she could be doing so much more with her career, in my opinion.

Well, Chris Evans is hot. Enough said. This is me every time I see him take his shirt off in this movie:

Swoon worthy. But this movie is a cute little comedy to watch on a boring Saturday afternoon, not a movie in which I would necessarily buy as soon as release, but I'd buy it on dvd a while afterwards after it got really cheap, do you see what I'm saying? Its that kind of movie. The plot isn't very stable because she gets all trippy over 19 lovers and since this is set in modern times, people should know that people really don't care about their promiscuity now a days. But, of course, Anna Faris does.

And during the whole movie, you KNOW what's going to happen, but you just want to see the ultimately cliche turnout. And it's just a stupidly cute movie. There aren't even any really rounded characters in this movie as well, you don't really care about anyone but the main character, Ally.

Happy Movie Watching,
